Flash Memory, Part I: MMC and SD

Before getting into the details, some background on each card may be appropriate. The letters ‘MMC’ stand for MultiMedia Card, which is a format that was developed jointly by SanDisk and Siemens in 1997. The letters ‘SD’ stand for Secure Digital, and this format is an improvement on the original MMC design, and was developed jointly by SanDisk, Matushita Electronics (better known as Panasonic) and Toshiba.
MMC and SD
Flash memory is available in so many formats that it can be difficult to know what will work with any particular device. Devices such as MP3 players, PDAs, mobile phones, digital cameras, and personal computers can take advantage of flash memory to bolster their storage capacity, but selecting the right format may be easier said than done.
To try to address all of the common formats in one Tech Tip might be quite a read, so we're doing a two part series on Flash Memory. Part I of the Flash memory series will focus on two similar, very popular and generally interchangeable formats: MMC and SD.
The Basics
Before getting into the details, some background on each card may be appropriate. The letters 'MMC' stand for MultiMedia Card, which is a format that was developed jointly by SanDisk and Siemens in 1997. The letters 'SD' stand for Secure Digital, and this format is an improvement on the original MMC design, and was developed jointly by SanDisk, Matsushita Electronics (better known as Panasonic) and Toshiba.
Both formats are quite durable and the solid state (no moving parts) components are protected by a rigid plastic shell. The devices are generally unaffected by extreme temperatures, and should withstand a drop of 10 feet without experiencing any damage from shock.
Physical Features
Both MMC and SD flash memory units measure approximatly 24mm x 32mm x 2.1mm, about the size of a typical postage stamp, and weigh a mere 2 grams. This miniature footprint may make them about the easiest way to misplace your data, but also allows the devices that accept them to be smaller. Personal electronics are shrinking as they get more powerful, and the necessary accessories need to keep pace. Although they share the same basic form factor, MMC and SD cards can be distinguished by two physical features, a sliding tab and the number of connections.
When looking at an MMC or SD card so that the label is facing you, and the electrical connections are facing away from you, there will be a notch in the upper right corner of the card. From this point of reference there will be a small sliding tab on the left edge of an SD card, not found on an MMC card. Compare this 512MB MMC card with this 512MB SD card and you can see the difference if you look closely at the enlarged images. This tab slides into two positions, locked and unlocked. It allows the user to manually write protect the data on the card, which means with the tab in the locked position data can be read from the card, but nothing can be written to or erased from the card.
The other physical difference is on the backside of the card. An MMC card features seven electrical connections (small rectangular pads for data transfer and receiving power), whereas an SD card has nine.
* While there may be rare exceptions, for all practical purposes, SD & MMC cards may be used interchangeably on current devices, especially if they indicate "SD/MMC" compatibility.
Transfer Rate
SD and MMC cards are capable of similar data transfer rates, with a slight edge going to the SD cards. SD cards are now available with write speeds rated at 60x (9 MB/s) and read speeds rated at 66x (10 MB/s), while MMC transfer rates seem to peak at 9 MB/s in either direction. Not much of a difference and both are quite fast, but end user results will vary and may not reach these speeds in real world use, regardless of format chosen.
SD and MMC cards should reference a speed as part of the technical specification, and it is an important thing to consider when shopping around. Lower speed cards are still commercially available, and can have an impact on the performance of digital cameras or other devices where speed may be critical. Each 'x' in the speed rating represents 0.15 MB/s, so if 45x compared to 66x doesn't sound like a big deal to you, maybe putting it in terms of 6.75 MB/s compared to 10 MB/s will. Instead of actual speed ratings, some manufacturers will use words like "High Speed" or "Ultra" when referring to the faster cards.
Note: Check the actual write speed specs of your device before purchasing "Ultra" or "High Speed' chips. You could be putting a Hemi engine in a AMC Gremlin. Don't spend the extra money if the camera does not support it.
Capacity
SD cards are readily available in sizes up to 1 GB, 2 GB models are starting to show up, and the SD Card Association states that models with up to 4 GB and 8 GB of storage capacity are also on the way. In contrast, MMC cards have a maximum capacity of 512MB, making the SD technology much more appealing.
Security
As mentioned in the physical features section above, SD cards offer the benefit of write protection. By 'locking' the card, a user can be assured that the data is secure until they take the necessary step to un protect it. Fears of accidentally losing or changing data can be eliminated by using an SD card over an MMC card, thus improving the security of the data.
Another feature supported by SD, but not MMC, involves copyright protection. The SanDisk web site refers to this feature as "cryptographic security for protection of copyrighted data", and other locations reference it as DRM, or Digital Rights Management. Basically, licensed content can be written to an SD card and it can not be executed except from that specific card.
Applications
In general, SD and MMC cards are interchangeable and either can be used in a compatible device. An SD card may generally cost more than an MMC card with the same capacity, but as seen in this Tech Tip, it does offer more for the money.
Many card readers are available for personal computers that promote the ability to read and write to a variety of common flash media formats. A 15-in-1 reader/writer, such as this one, can be made quite compact thanks in part to the fact that two of the 15, MMC and SD, can be read from the same slot on the device.
MP3 players generally come with a base amount of memory to store music files, but having an expansion slot allows users to increase the capacity, and play time, by adding flash memory of their choice. The Pogo RipFlash MP3 Player is such a device, providing 256MB onboard as well as an SD/MMC slot for easy expandability.
Mobile phones and PDAs can also take advantage of increased storage space thanks to flash memory slots. The Handspring Treo 600 is a combination phone/PDA that offers an SD/MMC slot for such convenience.

One word of warning - be sure to check your device for the capacity of the card that it can handle. If your camera can handle only up to a 512 MB card, then using a 1 GB card in the camera will be pointless (depending on the device, some will not even be able to read the card, whereas others will only use up to the capacity that it is rated for. Either way, you want to make sure that you match the card properly to the device). So as always, check your product's manual to be sure that you buy memory that it can support.

Americans are failing to regularly back up their digital photos, music, documents or other types of files, according to a new study released by the Consumer Electronic Association. Built into the Express is an FM radio tuner, an integrated microphone, audio recording from voice or radio, a brightly illuminated four-line OLED display screen, and controls that are intuitive for easy and quick navigation.
The Sansa Express fits directly into the USB port on any computer. Whether it's the side of your laptop, or the front of your desktop tower, there's no cable, and it's about the size of a pack of gum. Weighing in at less than an ounce, the Sansa Express mp3 player is the very definition of portable.
File formats supported by the Sansa Express include WMA, protected WMA, WAV, Audible, and MP3. If the 2GB of flash memory isn't enough to meet your needs, there is a microSD expansion slot to enlarge your music capacity. Subscription music stores are also supported in most cases. The digital FM radio tuner has the capability of recording radio broadcasts, allowing you to store a favorite song or piece of information for later reference or enjoyment. While the demise of the compact disc (CD) has spared a good deal of shelf space, it also has pushed the album to the brink of extinction. And, as anyone who's ever listened to Van Morrison's "Moondance" knows, a great album offers sonic pleasures mere singles can never truly match. Oddly enough, a new format called slotMusic(TM) looks at once to eliminate the CD for good and save the album from certain death.
SanDisk, a company known for its flash memory data storage products, has partnered with four of the top record labels to produce the new music medium. slotMusic are small memory cards that will feature full-length albums and additional content, and are compatible with MP3 players, computers, cell phones, game consoles and more. The tiny slotMusic cards (smaller than postage stamps) will start filtering into stores like Best Buy and Wal-Mart this holiday season, with prices expected to be comparable to CDs. The music on the card will be in the MP3 format and, with no digital rights management copy protection, listeners will be (legally) allowed to transfer music to their PCs, delete songs from the card and fill up open space with their own data (cards initially will have one gigabyte of storage - though that number will be expanded in the future). And, slotMusic has another great thing going for it: accessibility. Unlike past music media (e.g. - records, tapes, CDs), people don't need to have special players to accept the new format since millions of phones, MP3 players and computers are already equipped with microSD card slots.
More portable and digitally compatible than the elderly CD, SanDisk and the labels are betting on slotMusic to "click" with the iTunes generation and help offset plummeting profit margins. Record labels EMI Music, Sony BMG, Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group all have pledged support for slotMusic and will release a mix of current and past albums in the new medium. With figures dropping annually for nearly a decade, consumers purchased only 511 million CDs last year (down from the peak of 942 million in 2000). The music industry, unprepared and unwilling to deal with the effect of downloads on album sales, has mostly just panicked and reacted preposterously. Along with suing music downloaders (AKA: potential customers), they've refused to lower CD prices to lure in buyers. Now, the labels are hoping slotMusic will offer the downloading crowd a more accessible medium. SanDisk reps claim research indicates that a lot of music listeners who prefer digital music would like to have a way to play it in MP3 players and phones without first synching the music through a computer.
While slotMusic has the potential for success, will consumers really go for another physical music format? That remains to be seen. Fact is, it may not just be the CD medium that has become outdated, but the album itself. Nowadays, most people would rather pay a couple bucks to download radio-friendly singles from an album than take a risk on the whole thing. And that's understandable. Think about how many albums you've liked from start to finish in the past year. How about in the past decade? At best, maybe a handful. Even true album purists will admit the majority of the CDs out there are mostly filler. It's gotten to the point where we believe an album is good if we like half the songs - really not a strong percentage at all. And that's the fault of both the artists and the record labels. The music industry has spent far too long focusing on ways to make money rather than producing quality products. Unfortunately for them, the marketing tool of selling CDs based on one hit single backfired with the dawn of the Internet. Now, the hopes of the music industry and the album itself rest on the surface of the slotMusic card. And that may just be too heavy a burden for the tiny device to bear.

Desktop Computers
Considering the increasing amount of pink laptops available, I was surprised to find that the pickings for pink desktop computers are slim to say the least. I have not been able to find a single desktop tower offered in pink! Raidmax have pink computer cases in two different designs, and you can buy a custom-built computer housed in one of those cases from KidComputers, but that is it.
Keyboards
There aren't a whole lot of pink keyboards out there either, but I did find a few: Saitek makes a fuchsia keyboard with white keys (and a matching mouse); there is the Hello Kitty Multimedia Keyboard with a built-in (detachable) pink plaid wrist pad (there are several other types of Hello Kitty keyboards available as well, but I thought one would be enough here), and, my absolute favorite, the ultra cool, hot pink, flexible Bendi Board by Desklamations. It's made out of totally flexible silicone (you can roll it up and put it in your bag if you want to take it with you), and if you should happen to knock your soda or coffee over while you're working, no problem - you can wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Perfect!
For younger children, there is the kid-sized hot pink Little Princess keyboard, with purple and blush pink keys (and a matching mini-mouse), and a layout that prevents Repetitive Strain Injury! I really hope children don't spend enough time in front of a computer to be at risk for that. There's plenty of time to develop those kinds of things once you're a working adult.

The smart part is that 2 of them rotate, so if you have oversized plugs, you will still be able to use the same hub for all your connections. The animated Hello Kitty USB hub features Kitty herself talking to you (in Japanese or English, your choice), emailing her friends and playing puzzles while you're typing away.

There are many choices available in pink when it comes to flash drives. Tiny as they are, they add a lot of style to your setup. SanDisk's 2GB Cruzer Gator is adorable in alligator-patterned dark pink, and their 4GB Cruzer Fleur is white with pink flowers and a hot pink cover. Tribeca's Splash Drives are bright fuchsia with butterflies, and while not as fanciful as the others I've mentioned here, Kingston's DataTraveler 101 (pink of course) with it's attached cover (you just move it to the side when using the drive) is great for people like me, who tend to lose small parts... Storage capacity, external memory cards, battery life, weight, how long the unit will hold a charge are just a few factors that pop into my mind when I think portable MP3 players. On one hand you have the Apple iPod. Now mostly everyone has heard of the iPod even if they never held a portable MP3 player in their hand before. This is possible due in part to Apple's tremendous marketing efforts. I am fortunate enough to say honestly that I owned both an Apple iPod and other portable MP3 players.
This article was written in the hopes of leaving you further educated on MP3 players than you were when you first reached this page. I will start with positive attributes to the iPod and end with the downside.
User Interface
Most MP3 players have intuitive interfaces and are very easy to use. I have not found another MP3 player with an easier interface than the iPod. The iPod allows a user, pending that their digital files have the proper tags associated, to sort their music by Artist, Album, Genre, or by a user created playlist. Many other MP3 players also have this feature. The iPod user interface syncs up seamlessly with their proprietary software, iTunes and also allows you to sort your music as aforementioned. If for some reason your mp3s do not have the proper tags, you can still add them to a custom playlist for easy retrieval.
There are many other units out there with great interfaces. The company SanDisk, who started out as an external storage media company has dipped their feet in the MP3 market and came out with a product called the Sansa. It is considerably cheaper than the iPod. It has all the functionality of the iPod but the UI differs extremely. I own this player and personally, I found the iPod UI to be friendlier for a number of reasons. The wheel on the Sansa is mechanical, versus the touch pad technology on the iPod which doesn't allow for precise scanning through songs. The iPod's touch pad wheel allows you to scan through songs quickly by flicking your finger on the pad or slowly with a steady deliberate drag of the finger. This especially comes in handy when scanning through very long broadcasts. On the Sansa, you can spin the wheel forever before you get to the 10 minute mark.
Another issue where the iPod shines over the Sansa is if a song is copied to the Sansa player without ID tags, it simply doesn't show up. This baffled me when I first got the Sansa and has been an ongoing headache since I now have to add ID tags to custom recorded broadcasts that do not come with ID tags.
Price
The saying hold true that you get what you pay for. The Sansa MP3 player comes at or more than 50% less than the cost of a new iPod (depending on the model and storage capacity). For users who are a bit more tech savvy, the Sansa can be a real money saver. On the other hand, the iPod will be easier to use for the less than tech savvy listener.
As you can see the iPod is no different than many other MP3 players out on the market as far as functionality is concerned but their front end user interface is well thought out and in the end you are paying for the brains of the product. The actual electronics in most cases is worth less than $5. Good luck in your search.

These problems could be in the form of error message(s) or just data inaccessibility. While troubleshooting options, such as formatting, editing the registry, etc., solves many of these problems, it often leads to data loss. At such times if one does not have a back-up to turn to, then you should use an SD Card Recovery Software.

ต้องใช้เวลาสักระยะในการลดเกราะป้องกันตัวเองลง หากเราและเขากำลังพยายามเปิดใจมากขึ้นในเรื่องเซ็กส์ ก็ต้องอดทนสักนิด และฝึกตัวเองให้รู้จักเปิดใจต่อกันทีละนิดทีละหน่อย

เพศสัมพันธ์ สิ่งดีๆ ในชีวิตคู่
สิ่งหนึ่งที่เราต้องการนอกจากความรัก ความเอาใจใส่แล้ว ที่ขาดไม่ได้เลยคือเรื่องเซ็กส์ หรือเพศสัมพันธ์

ผมเคยคุยเล่นๆ กับเพื่อนรุ่นพี่ท่านหนึ่ง ซึ่งมีครอบครัวที่แสนน่ารักอบอุ่น ผ่านร้อนผ่านหนาวมาเกือบ 25 ปีว่า อะไรสำคัญที่สุดในชีวิตการครองคู่เป็นสามีภรรยา เมื่อวัยหนุ่มสาวแต่งงานกันใหม่ๆ สิ่งที่เราสนใจใฝ่หาจากกันก็คือเรื่องเซ็กส์นี่แหละ หลายคนอาจจะแอบเถียงอยู่ในใจว่า ไม่เสมอไปหรอกบางคนต้องการแค่เพื่อนคู่คิดเท่านั้นเอง คำพูดนี้ผมจะไม่เถียงเลย ถ้าเป็นคู่แต่งงานที่เป็นผู้สูงอายุ หรืออยู่ในวัยที่หมดอารมณ์ทางเพศแล้ว การแต่งงานกันของคนวัยเจริญพันธุ์นั้น อย่างหนึ่งก็คือการสืบพันธุ์ เพื่อให้มีเผ่าพันธุ์มนุษย์ต่อไปในอนาคต ซึ่งก็ต้องผ่านการมีเพศสัมพันธ์
เขาว่ากันว่าการมีเซ็กส์นั้นช่วยทำให้สุขภาพแข็งแรง มีชีวิตที่ยืนยาวจริงหรือเปล่า?
ข้อแรก คือ ต้องถามก่อนว่ามีเซ็กส์กับใคร ถ้าเป็นคู่รัก คือคนที่คุณรักล่ะก็ อันนี้ตอบได้เลยว่าจริง เพราะอะไรนะหรือ ก็เพราะเมื่อเรารักใครสักคน การที่จะมีจิตพิศวาสมีความใคร่นั้นมันทำได้ดีกว่าการมีเซ็กส์กับคนแปลกหน้า ที่ไม่รู้ว่าจะไว้ใจได้หรือเปล่าเป็นไหนๆ เลิกกังวลเรื่องโรคติดต่อทางเพศสัมพันธ์ได้เลย (ยกเว้นคุณไปพลีกายนอกบ้านให้คนอื่นๆ มา) เลิกกังวลกับความรู้สึกผิดชอบชั่วดี เดี๋ยวขัดศีลธรรม ขนบธรรมเนียมประเพณี เพราะเรามีเซ็กส์กับสามีภรรยาของเราเอง ใครก็ว่าเราไม่ได้ จริงไหม
ข้อสอง คือ เซ็กส์ครั้งนั้น เป็นไปด้วยความยินยอมพร้อมใจของทั้งสองฝ่ายหรือเปล่า? ถ้าใช่ละก็เท่ากับว่าเซ็กส์ครั้งนั้นก็ประสบความสำเร็จไปครึ่งหนึ่งแล้ว เพราะการมีเพศสัมพันธ์ ร่างกายจะหลั่งสารแห่งความสุขออกมา ช่วยให้อารมณ์ดี จิตใจแจ่มใส เกิดความผ่อนคลาย หายเครียด ทำให้นอนหลับฝันดี ส่งผลให้ร่างกายแข็งแรง สุขภาพดี กระชุ่มกระชวย รู้สึกเป็นหนุ่มเป็นสาวอยู่ตลอดเวลา
ข้อสาม คือ ร่างกายพร้อมหรือเปล่า? ไม่เชื่อก็ต้องเชื่อนะครับว่า บางคนนี่จะอ่อนเปลี้ยเพลียแรงอย่างไรก็ได้ แต่อย่างไรสถิติต้องไม่ตก บางคนหลงเข้าใจผิดว่าการที่จะเอาใจสามีหรือภรรยาได้ดีที่สุดก็คือ ต้องมีเซ็กส์ทุกครั้งที่เขาหรือเธอต้องการ นั่นเป็นเจตนาดีและประสงค์ร้ายต่อตัวเองนะครับ เพราะการมีเซ็กส์ในแต่ละครั้งนั้น เราต้องการใช้พลังงานมากพอๆ กับการออกกำลังกายเลยทีเดียว แล้วคิดดูนะครับว่าการฝืนใจมีเซ็กส์แบบนั้นมันเหมือนกับการทำงานส่งให้ เสร็จๆ ได้แต่ปริมาณ ไม่ได้คุณภาพ ไม่สุขอย่างเต็มที่ สารแห่งความสุขก็จะไม่หลั่ง แทนที่จะหนุ่มสาว กลับจะกลายเป็นแก่เร็วไปนะครับ
ถ้าคุณกำลังมีปัญหาเรื่องเซ็กส์ในชีวิตคู่ ลองนำทั้งสามข้อที่กล่าวมานั้นไปเป็นหลักปฏิบัติในการมีเซ็กส์ของคุณนะครับ แล้วคุณจะพบกับผลที่แตกต่างจากเดิมอย่างไม่น่าเชื่อเลยทีเดียว แต่ที่สำคัญคือคุณก็ต้องคุยกับคู่ของคุณด้วย ให้เป็นไปโดยที่ทั้งสองฝ่ายยินยอมพร้อมใจกัน ลองนั่งคุยกันแบบเปิดอกเสียที เป็นของกันและกันไปแล้ว ก็เหมือนคนที่สนิทที่สุดในชีวิต ใครชอบอะไรไม่ชอบอะไรในเรื่องเซ็กส์ คุยกันได้ เพื่อความสุขในชีวิตคู่นะครับ
แล้วถ้ามีเซ็กส์บ่อยๆ จะมีปัญหาตามมาหรือไม่?
บางครั้งการขาดความรู้ความเข้าใจที่ถูกต้องเกี่ยวกับเรื่อง เซ็กส์ ก็เป็นบ่อเกิดของปัญหาเรื่องเซ็กส์ได้อย่างไม่น่าเชื่อ บางครั้งการไม่กล้าถาม ไม่กล้าปรึกษาผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ก็กลายเป็นว่าต้องไปศึกษาด้วยตนเอง ผิดบ้างถูกบ้างก็ว่ากันไป ทีนี้ลองมาดูกันว่าปัญหาที่(คิดเอาเอง) ตามมาจากการมีเซ็กส์บ่อยๆ มีอะไรบ้าง
ข้อแรก คือ ส่วนมากคุณผู้หญิงมักจะกังวลว่า เมื่อมีเซ็กส์บ่อยๆ จะทำให้ช่องคลอดหลวม ส่งผลให้คุณสามีเบื่อและอาจจะพาลไปมีกิ๊กนอกบ้านได้ (ถ้าเขาไปมีกิ๊กละก็เขาก็ไม่รักคุณแล้วล่ะ) คำถามข้อนี้มีคำตอบคือ จริง แต่ไม่ได้หมายความว่าเราจะหมดหนทางแก้ไขเสียดีเดียวนะครับ อันที่จริงแล้วลักษณะของช่องคลอดนั้นเป็นกล้ามเนื้อครับ อีกทั้งมีความแข็งแรงมาก ถึงขนาดกลายเป็นจุดขายในการโชว์เป่าลูกดอก เปิดขวด ฯลฯ ที่บาร์อะโกโก้ ชอบชี้ชวนให้คนไปดู แสดงให้เห็นว่า หลวมได้ก็คับได้เหมือนกัน ทางการแพทย์เลยได้มีวิธีการออกกำลังกายที่ช่วยให้ช่องคลอดกระชับด้วยวิธี ง่ายๆ ไม่เสียเงิน ไม่เจ็บตัว นั่นคือการ ขมิบ คุณจะทำที่ไหนเมื่อไรก็ได้ไม่มีใครห้าม เพราะมันอยู่ในร่มผ้าไม่มีใครรู้ใครเห็น วันละ 10 ครั้ง 100 ครั้ง 1,000 ครั้ง หรือมากกว่าก็ไม่ผิดกติกาถ้าไหวละก็ โดยแต่ละครั้งควรขมิบค้างไว้สักนับ 10 วินาที (อย่าโกงนะครับ) นอกจากจะช่วยให้ช่องคลอดกระชับแล้ว เคยมีรายงานวิจัยพบว่ายังช่วยให้ผู้หญิงเองถึงจุดสุดยอดได้ง่ายด้วย ขยันมากเท่าไหร่ก็ได้ผลดีมากเท่านั้น
ข้อสอง คือ กังวลว่าการมีเซ็กส์บ่อย ๆ จะทำให้กลายเป็น คนติดเซ็กส์ คนบ้าเซ็กส์ คนบ้ากาม ล้วนแต่เป็นคำเหน็บแนมที่หาสาระอะไรไม่ได้ ดังนั้นอย่าหลงเชื่อเป็นอันขาด บางครั้งการหยอกล้อกันในเพื่อนฝูงเมื่อใครมีทีท่าสนใจเรื่องเซ็กส์ว่าเป็นคน บ้าเซ็กส์ ก็อาจจะกลายเป็นเรื่องไม่เป็นเรื่องขึ้นมาก็ได้ ก่อนอื่นเราต้องรู้ก่อนนะครับว่า อย่างไรคือคนติดเซ็กส์ คนติดเซ็กส์นั้นคือคนที่เห็นกิจกรรมทางเพศสำคัญที่สุดในชีวิต ขาดไม่ได้ ต้องตายแน่ๆ ส่งผลให้วันๆ เอาแต่คิดเรื่องเซ็กส์ จะเป็นแบบมีเซ็กส์กับคนอื่นๆ ทั้งแบบตัวต่อตัว หรือแบบหมู่ หรือการช่วยตัวเอง การดูสื่อลามกต่างๆ อย่างมากผิดปกติ ทำให้ในที่สุดชีวิตส่วนตัว สังคม และการงานเสียหาย นั่นคือคนติดเซ็กส์ เป็นปัญหากับตนเองที่ควรได้รับการแก้ไขเป็นอย่างยิ่ง แต่ถ้าคุณไม่เข้าข่ายเหล่านี้ ก็มีไปเถอะครับ มากเท่าไหร่ก็ไม่เป็นไร ตราบใดที่ทั้งคุณและคู่ของคุณยังไหวอยู่ แต่ขอให้เน้นที่คุณภาพนิดนึงนะครับ ไม่ใช่ปริมาณ
ข้อสาม อันนี้คุณผู้ชายอาจเคยได้ยินมาบ้าง จะทำให้เสื่อมสมรรถภาพทางเพศได้เมื่อโตเป็นผู้ใหญ่ ซึ่งเป็นการโดนหลอกที่ยาวนานมาตั้งแต่สมัยเป็นวัยรุ่นเลย เพราะบางครั้งผู้ใหญ่ก็ไม่อยากให้เด็กชิงสุกก่อนห่าม แต่กลายเป็นว่าห่ามแล้วก็ยังเชื่อที่โดนหลอกอยู่ดี บ้างก็ว่ากระสุนจะหมด ทำให้มีลูกยาก ซึ่งไม่เป็นความจริงอะไรทั้งนั้นแหละครับ เรื่องที่จะเสื่อมหรือไม่เสื่อมนั้นสิ่งสำคัญมันอยู่ที่ว่าคุณใช้งานแล้ว ดูแลมันดีพอหรือเปล่าต่างหาก ร่างกายคนเรานั้นใช้งานหักโหมเกินไป แล้วถ้าไม่บำรุงรักษาก็มีแต่พังกับพังครับ สมรรถภาพทางเพศจะดีได้นั้นก็ต่อเมื่อร่างกายและจิตใจของคนคนนั้นต้องดีด้วย ออกกำลังกายสม่ำเสมอ รับประทานอาหารที่เป็นประโยชน์ครบ 5 หมู่ ทำจิตใจให้ปลอดโปร่งโล่งสบาย ง่ายๆ แค่นี้เองครับ
ข้อสี่ คือ คุณผู้หญิงหลายๆ ท่านอาจจะเคยทราบมาบ้างแล้วว่า เมื่อท่านมีเพศสัมพันธ์แล้วนั้น สิ่งที่ควรจะทำเป็นประจำทุกปีคือการไปตรวจมะเร็งปากมดลูก ซึ่งตรงนี้เองทำให้เกิดความเชื่ออีกอย่าง คือการมีเซ็กส์บ่อยๆ ทำให้เกิดมะเร็งปากมดลูก อันนี้ก็ก้ำกึ่งนะครับ เพราะไม่เป็นอย่างนั้นเสมอไป แต่ผมมีข้อเสนอครับว่า ไม่ว่าคุณจะมีเซ็กส์มากน้อยแค่ไหน ถ้าคุณมีกับคู่ของคุณคนเดียว ไม่ไปรักสนุกมีคู่นอนมากหน้าหลายตา (โดยไม่ใช้ถุงยางอนามัย) และคุณทั้งคู่รักษาอนามัยของอวัยวะเพศ อย่างสม่ำเสมอ โดยเฉพาะคุณผู้ชายที่ไม่ได้ขลิบ ก็จะลดโอกาสเกิดมะเร็งปากมดลูกลงได้อย่างมาก การใช้ถุงยางอนามัยก็ช่วยลดอัตราเสี่ยงได้ด้วยเหมือนกัน
การมีเซ็กส์บ่อยหรือไม่บ่อยนั้น จำนวนคงไม่ใช่ตัวที่จะมาตัดสินได้อย่างแม่นยำ ถูกต้องเสียทีเดียว ความพึงพอใจทางเพศต่างหากที่จะเป็นตัววัดว่า คุณจะอยากมีเซ็กส์มากน้อยเท่าไหร่ และเมื่อคุณรู้สึกว่าเกิดปัญหา หรือข้อสงสัยขึ้น เมื่อปรึกษากันเองแล้วไม่ได้คำตอบที่พึงพอใจ สิ่งที่ง่ายกว่าการลองผิดลองถูกก็คือ การปรึกษาผู้เชี่ยวชาญที่มีความรู้ ความสามารถ เพื่อให้ได้คำตอบและแนวทางการแก้ไขที่ถูกต้อง จะได้ไม่ต้องหวาดผวากับความรู้ผิดๆ ถูกๆ ของตัวเองไปชั่วชีวิต
เป็นไงบ้างครับ ได้เห็นถึงเรื่องเซ็กส์ดีๆ ในชีวิตคู่กันแล้ว อันที่จริงเทคนิคเหล่านี้ ไม่ใช่เรื่องใหม่ เป็นสิ่งที่หลายคนรู้แล้ว แต่มองข้ามมันไปด้วยซ้ำ ข้อสำคัญคือถ้าเรารักคู่ของเรา การเปิดอกคุยเรื่องเพศกันจะช่วยกระชับความสัมพันธ์กันได้อย่างดียิ่งนะครับ เพราะการเล่าเรื่องที่ส่วนตัวมากๆ ให้ใครในสังคนฟังนั้น เราจะต้องไว้ใจคนๆ นั้นมากๆ ซึ่งนั่นเท่ากับว่าถ้าเราเริ่มต้นคุยได้ แสดงให้เห็นว่าเราก็พัฒนาความรู้สึกที่กระชับแน่นแฟ้นได้อีกขั้น เผลอๆ อาจจะได้ผลดีกว่ามีเซ็กส์จริงๆ เสียอีก แล้วพบกันใหม่นะครับ

วิธีออกกำลังกายให้เหมาะสมกับกรุ๊ปเลือดที่แตก ต่าง เพื่อเสริมสร้างสุขภาพกายและใจ ไม่ทำให้ร้ายกล้ามเนื้อเพราะการออกกำลังกายอย่างหักโหม
วันนี้ ยืดเส้นยืดสาย เตรียม
เริ่มจากเลือดกรุ๊ปเอ ควรออกกำลังกายแบบช้า ๆ ออกแรงไม่มาก เช่น โยคะ ไท้เก๊ก ชี่กง เพราะมีโครงกระดูกเล็ก หักง่าย สืบเนื่องจากอาหารที่เหมาะสมของคนเลือดกรุ๊ปเอ คือ อาหารประเภทมังสวิรัติ หรือรับประทานเนื้อสัตว์เพียงเล็กน้อย
ส่วนเลือดกรุ๊ปบี ที่รับประทานอาหารทั้งผักทั้งเนื้อสัตว์ได้ในสัดส่วนที่เท่ากัน จึงมีความว่องไว ให้ออกกำลังกายอย่างสมดุล ไม่หักโหมหรือเชื่องช้าเกินไป เช่น ว่ายน้ำ เดินเร็ว วิ่งเหยาะๆ กอล์ฟ ปิงปอง
สำหรับผู้ที่มีเลือดกรุ๊ปเอบี เปรียบเสมือนส่วนผสมของกรุ๊ปเอและบี ให้สังเกตตนเองว่ามักเลือกรับประทานอาหารของกรุ๊ปเอ หรือกรุ๊ปบีมากกว่ากัน เมื่อทราบแล้วก็ให้ออกกำลังกายตามลักษณะของเลือดกรุ๊ปนั้น แต่ก็ควรเพิ่มการออกกำลังกายในแบบที่เหมาะกับเลือดอีกกรุ๊ปด้วย เช่น มักรับประทานผักและผลไม้อย่างคนเลือดกรุ๊ปเอ ก็ให้ออกกำลังกายแบบช้า ๆ เป็นหลัก และเสริมด้วยการออกกำลังกายของคนเลือดกรุ๊ปบีบ้าง
ขณะที่คนเลือดกรุ๊ปโอ เหมาะสมกับการออกกำลังกายชนิดที่ต้องออกแรงมาก เช่น ฟุตบอล บาสเกตบอล วิ่งทางไกล ชกมวย เนื่องจากสภาพร่างกายสามารถบริโภคเนื้อสัตว์ที่มีไขมันสูงและผักได้ในปริมาณ มาก ทำให้มีโครงกระดูกที่แข็งแรง กล้ามเนื้อกระชับแน่น
ไม่ว่าคุณจะมีเลือดอยู่ในกรุ๊ปใด ต้องไม่ลืมการเดินเร็ว 10 นาที หลังจากออกกำลังกายตามกรุ๊ปเลือดทุกครั้ง นอกจากนี้ยังควรออกมายืดเส้นยืดสายเคลื่อนไหวร่างกายให้ผิวหนังถูกแสงแดดราว 20 - 30 นาที ในช่วงเวลา 11.00 - 14.00 น. เพราะในช่วงเวลาดังกล่าวมีรังสียูวีในระดับเข้มข้น ช่วยให้ร่างกายได้รับวิตามินดี 3 เพื่อช่วยลำเลียงแคลเซียมและแร่ธาตุต่าง ๆ ไปยังกระดูก โดยไม่ต้องกังวลว่าจะเป็นมะเร็งผิวหนัง หากไม่ได้ออกมารับแสงแดดด้วยการนอนอาบแดดอยู่เฉย ๆ กับที่ซึ่งเป็นอันตรายต่อผิวหนัง.

วิธีปฏิบัติเมื่อแพ้อากาศ
หากโรคแพ้อากาศกำเริบจะทำอย่างไร วันนี้เรามีวิธีปฏิบัติมาแนะนำ
โรคแพ้อากาศหรือโรคภูมิแพ้จมูก เป็นโรคที่พบบ่อยทั้งในผู้ใหญ่และเด็ก ผู้ป่วยจะมีอาการ จาม คัดจมูก น้ำมูกไหล มีเสมหะในคอ เลือดกำเดาไหลบ่อย และอาจพบอาการคันตา แสบตา คันหู หูอื้อ ซึ่งอาการเหล่านี้มีความสัมพันธ์กับสิ่งกระตุ้น เช่น การเปลี่ยนแปลงอุณหภูมิ ฝุ่น ละอองเกสรของพืช ไรฝุ่น และขน
วิธีปฏิบัติตัวเมื่อเป็นโรคแพ้อากาศ ให้หลีกเลี่ยงสารที่ก่อให้เกิดภูมิแพ้ เช่น ฝุ่น ตัวไร ในฝุ่น เชื้อราในอากาศ แมลงสาบ ยุง แมลงวัน และมด โดยห้องนอน ต้องจัดให้มีของอยู่น้อยที่สุด เพื่อความสะดวกในการทำความสะอาด ส่วนหมอนต้องนำมาตากแดดบ่อยๆ และควรนำเลี้ยงสัตว์เลี้ยงมีขน เช่น แมว สุนัข ไว้ภายนอกบ้าน ที่สำคัญคือ พยายามหลีกเลี่ยงละอองเกสรหญ้า วัชพืช และดอกไม้ทุกชนิด
ระวังสุขภาพทั้งร่างกายและจิตใจ โดยนอนหลับพักผ่อนให้เพียงพอ งดดื่มเหล้า งดสูบบุหรี่ และออกกำลังกายให้สม่ำเสมอ ส่วนทางด้านจิตใจระวังอย่าให้เครียดหรือวิตกกังวลเกินไป
ควรล้างจมูกอย่างสม่ำเสมอด้วยน้ำเกลือ เนื่องจากสามารถลดปริมาณสารก่อภูมิแพ้ที่อยู่ในจมูกได้วิธีการล้างจมูก คือ ให้ผสมน้ำต้มสุก 500 ซีซี ( ครึ่งลิตร ) กับเกลือ 1 ช้อนชา แล้วเทลงในแก้วจากนั้นดูดด้วยสลิ้งค์ โดยให้ผู้ป่วยก้มหน้ากลั้นหายใจ พร้อมบีบน้ำเข้าไปในรูจมูกช้าๆ แนะอย่าให้ผู้ป่วยแหงนหน้า เพราะจะทำให้สำลักน้ำเกลือ จากนั้นให้ผู้ป่วยสั่งน้ำมูก

เริ่มจากข้อควรรู้เกี่ยวกับอาหารการกิน สำหรับผู้ที่ตั้งหน้าตั้งตาจะไดเอ็ทนั้นจำเป็นต้องพึงเข้าใจว่า ต้องรับประทานอาหารให้ครบทุกมื้อ ครบทุกหมู่ เพียงแต่ลดปริมาณอาหาร
ตามธรรมเนียมของ กินดี ที่ต้องส่งท้ายสัปดาห์ด้วยการกิน-ดื่มเพื่อสุขภาพ โดยเฉพาะอาหารเพื่อการลดหรือควบคุมน้ำหนักที่กล่าวกันมาตั้งแต่ต้นอาทิตย์

สำหรับ ผักใบเขียวและขาว มีสารอาหารอยู่ในหมวดหมู่เดียวกับผลไม้ ควรรับประทานเป็นประจำ แต่ควรสลับกับผักที่มีสีแดง-แสด อย่าง แครอต ฟักทอง มะเขือเทศ

ในพื้นที่เขตเทศบาลเมืองป่าตอง อ.กะทู้ จ.ภูเก็ต ได้มีกลุ่มวัยรุ่นร้านอินเทอร์เน็ต นำภาพ 2 นักเรียนชายหญิง ระดับมัธยมศึกษา กำลังเริงสวาทในห้องน้ำอย่างถึงพริกถึงขิง มาแพร่ภาพให้เพื่อน ๆ ดู พร้อมใช้โทรศัพท์มือถือถ่ายคลิปเก็บไว้กระจายส่งต่อกันอีก ซึ่งคลิปดังกล่าวเป็นภาพนักเรียนชายหญิง กำลังผลัดกันเล้าโลมรุกรับภายในห้องขนาดเล็กซึ่งคาดว่าน่าจะเป็นห้องน้ำของโรงเรียนแห่งหนึ่ง ความยาวประมาณ 7 นาที โดยฝ่ายหญิงยังหน้าตาละอ่อน สวมแว่นสายตา ผิวขาวผ่อง ส่วนฝ่ายชายหัวศีรษะเห็นหน้าไม่ชัดนัก ซึ่งผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านภาพ คาดว่าระหว่างที่ทั้งสองกำลังเพลิดเพลิน คงมีเพื่อนยื่นกล้องโทรศัพท์มือถือแอบถ่ายจากห้องน้ำที่อยู่ติดกัน
นายหนึ่ง หนึ่งในกลุ่มวัยรุ่นที่ได้รับชมคลิป กล่าวว่า คลิปดังกล่าวสร้างความเสื่อมเสียให้กับโรงเรียนเป็นอย่างมาก จึงอยากให้คณะครูอาจารย์ที่ทราบข่าวเรื่องนี้ ช่วยกระตุ้นนักเรียน นักศึกษาในสังกัด ว่าจะทำอะไร แม้เป็นในที่ลับอย่านึกว่าจะพ้นสายตาพวกโรคจิต ที่คอยแอบถ่ายภาพลงในอินเทอร์เน็ตหรือกลุ่มวัยรุ่นที่ชอบล่อลวงวัยรุ่นสาว ๆ มาเป็นเหยื่อ และถ่ายคลิปนำมาขายทางอินเทอร์เน็ตให้กับสมาชิก
สวป.สภ.กะทู้ กล่าวว่า ได้กำชับให้สายตรวจในพื้นที่รับผิดชอบ เน้นการตรวจตราร้านอินเทอร์เน็ต เพื่อตรวจสอบป้องกันไม่ให้เยาวชนเข้าเว็บไซต์ลามก หากพบว่าร้านไหนปล่อยปละละเลย จะมีการดำเนินคดีอย่างเฉียบขาดต่อไป
